I hope the babies are getting big enough to cooperate. My s-in-l has the same problem (must be NJ) and she has been leaving dog food. So far, ground hogs are well fed and the trap is empty!
Annie - using apples for bait and setting the trap in an "alley" made of logs to gently guide them from under the porch where they were living to the trap.
