See the lady in this photo? That's my mom and today is her birthday. She's 81 today. I love her a whole lot. This picture is from our trip to Alaska in September. Mom is hanging out with a couple of wooly characters in Denali National Park.My mom is so special. In the past several years she's had quite a bit of surgery (three hip replacements, two back surgeries, jaw surgery and one of those "lady" operations) and even though there are days that she's blue, she always hangs in there and toughs it out. She's my role model.
