Thursday Thoughts - Missing Maxie on Her Birthday

I took this photo of Maxie on her 15th birthday, just two years ago. Four months later, she left us. I still look for her in the front window and listen for her happy bark when I came home, no matter how long I was gone. I miss her snuggling next to me on the sofa and the scratching her belly. I miss her every day.

That's the bad part about being owned by a beloved pet... :(

I'm sure your family gave her as much love and pleasure as she gave you.

I love dogs. Is yours a Bichon? My nieces have one and she is so sweet. Not that smart but very cuddly. We had a German Shephard growing up and when she died, we never got another dog. There was no dog like her. I was very sad to see the German Shephard not even place during the Westminister Dog Show last night.

she was such a cutie...I know how much you miss her...We talk to Boo's picture up on the wall every day...and everytime the husband curses I tell Boo it will be allright...LOL...he used to get upset everytime the husband would get mad....But the best thing we have now is a recording from the Westminster Kennel show the other night...Since all Pyrenees look exactly alike I taped when the Pyrenees came up to bat....We now watch it a couple of times a day because it's Boo in the flesh...it's like seeing him come back to life....I know I know...crazy dog people...
