Easter Break

Our house is quiet again. Our son and his girlfriend were here from Thursday until yesterday. Now they are back at school and it's time to get back to some sort of routine. For about 6 weeks. And then he comes home for the summer. And all his stuff from school comes with him. And his room will be messy. And my laundry loads will double. As will my grocery bill. And the water and electric bills. And I can't wait. Because next year will be his senior year and who knows if he will come home after that.

Our Easter was really nice - we spent it with my parents. Attended the Easter vigil mass at their church, where my husband and I were married. Sunday we enjoyed a delicious dinner and each other's company.

So now I must change sheets and get the guest room ready for our next visitors - my parents will be making a trip to see us for the first time since Thanksgiving. I don't think they've ever been with out a visit for so long, but since my mom had gotten so ill from too much calcium in her system, visiting was out of the question. But now that she's better and my dad is a more rested, they are ready for a change of scenery and a visit. I can't wait!
