Thursday Thoughts

It's Thursday and here's what's on my mind today:

Nurse Nancy's son, Junior Birdman, is staying with us for a few days. It's our chance to visit with him and do some fun kid things and NN and Fly Boy get a few days to themselves. It's been and annual tradition for about the past 8 or nine years. Last year we went to Florida together and in the fall, when his parents headed to their beach house, he opted to stay with us for the weekend since he missed his weekend with us in February. The fact that we spent a week together didn't count since his parents were with us. His words!

Cinnamon Apple Bread from Shady Maple Market makes the most awesome french toast.

I've seen enough snow this winter thank you. Could we please have some spring? Like tomorrow.

I can't believe that my son has only three more months of school. For the first time in 19 years, I won't be making any checks payable to any school for tuition.

Five weeks until vacation. Can't wait. Note to self, must dig out summer clothes and hope they fit!

Cortisone injections can be a good thing. Especially when one has a rotator cuff tear, arthritis and bone spurs in their shoulder. Except for the part where they make you hungry.

What's on your mind today?

I'm cleaning linen closets. There's a distinct possibility this is going to send me right over the edge into madness!
